IP value
Together, water and electricity can cause sparks. It is therefore very important that your bathroom lamps are resistant to the moisture in the room. This can be derived from the IP value of a fitting. To make it easy for you, all our lamps in this bathroom selection are at least IP44.
Functional light
Although modern bathroom designs increasingly focus on wellness aspects, they primarily remain functional rooms. Two types of lighting are very important for this functionality: bathroom spotlights and mirror lighting.
Bathroom spotlights
A bathroom needs sufficient light. The general lighting of almost every modern bathroom is therefore mainly provided by spotlights. If they are correctly placed, they ensure a pleasant, homogeneous lighting without any unwanted dark corners.
Mirror lighting
In addition to spotlights, it is also recommenced to plan additional mirror lighting. This could be surface-mounted mirror lights, but a mirror with integrated lights is also suitable, of course. In order to avoid shadows on your face, it's best to have light on both sides of the mirror. Even diffuse light coming from above the mirror is better than light that comes from behind you.

Indirect lighting
Indirect lighting gives your bathroom an elegant touch. A few well-placed LED strips immediately evoke a sense of luxury.
Dimmable light
The spotlights in your bathroom not only ensure the overall lighting of the room: combined with a dimmer, they can also create the perfect atmosphere.
